I’m happy to help you switch your account type so you’ll be able to receive UberX trip requests.
In most cities, we'll need to re-run your background check and re-process your documents, which may take you offline for several days.
You should also know when you switch from delivering with Uber Eats to accepting trip requests, you’ll be switched from the Uber Eats Pro loyalty program to the Uber Pro loyalty program. You will still retain any rewards status that you may have achieved under Uber Eats Pro, but the points will not carry over. You can begin earning points towards Uber Pro right away.
If that sounds good to you, let us know and we can get started.

The app says that I can do both, give rides and deliver food. To be honest, I would rather deliver food, but if giving rides made up for slower times then I could do that. My car is pretty full of bags for food delivery. I have 2 different catering bags. and 3 different insulated bags for other orders as well as another one that I use as a pizza bag. I also have a cooler that I keep my lunch in and it is big enough to put drinks in as well if they are not in a carrier and cold. Ride space would be limited to 1 person with limited bags. No offense but all the bags are from doordash and grubhub. The cooler is just a cooler I bought at Meijer.
I would like to know more before switching.

Sounds pretty clear to me that I did not want to switch over immediately.
Yet they put me in it anyways and now I am fucked out of taking food deliveries for who knows how long until these morons fix it.
