More and more restaurants are closing their lobbies making the delivery job not worth it. The lines at the drive thru are fucking ridiculous at times. 

The delivery apps are basically con jobs. They allow areas to become over saturated with drivers just so they can make sure every single order is picked up. They do not give a shit about how much the drivers make or whether they make anything.

Yesterday, I made more money than the day before because I rejected at least 6 offers that would simply take too long for the money. 

If you take everything they offer you, you will be fucked. 

If you don't take everything they offer you then they set the apps up so that you can't get scheduled. You get fucked.

Their "choose where and when you work" is complete bullshit. If you try it they will screw you over. 

If you take all the offers to get your acceptance rate high you will end up making less because you will be spending so much time in a drive thru. 

Some restaurants are even worse than the drive thru crap as you will be standing there waiting on the order for 20 to 30 minutes.

The restaurant companies are greedy, greedy, greedy and do not give a shit about how long a driver stands there or how little they make because of it. The drivers are not their employees and are considered even lower.

It even gets worse when you live somewhere that everyone has to eat at the same fucking time. 

You people keep quitting your jobs, adjust your fucking schedules. Thought you wanted to break out of the rut?

It also gets worse when no one is working and everyone sleeps in so that most of the deliveries are at night, especially in a northern state that gets dark at 5:30.

For the record, the hide your address shit in this state really sucks. Whoever laid out most of the apartment complexes here is an idiot that tried to hide the addresses inside the complexes as well. 

Hey stupid college students; NO ONE CAN SEE YOU WALKING AROUND A DARK CAMPUS AT NIGHT WHEN YOU WEAR DARK CLOTHES. 

The scooters that they ride around have a directional headlight that you can't see until it points right at you which means you are in front of it. 

I wanted to try and get a better vehicle to drive around here in the winter, but if I go into debt the fucking nazis with the weaponry and all their gangstalking punks in the area will just fuck me out of any money that I make. 

Every time I have that I have used a delivery app and got it going good suddenly the offers stop. Doordash was first, then Uber Eats and now GrubHub. 

I hate everyone involved. 

The only good gangstalker is a dead gangstalker.

I might have enough money saved up to gt away from this shit hole if it were not for the fact that I spent 15 years out of the workforce because of the harassment due to the weaponry and the sex cult in this fucking asshole of an area.

The only reason I got back into the workforce here is to get money to make sure my cats were taken care of.

For the record, listening in to private conversations and then spreading the content of said conversations around the workplace or even town in order to get others to act in certain ways to the person that was eavesdropped upon is gangstalking.

An example of bullshit:

Yesterday I had a pick up at Panda Express in the Mall food court.

I went there and went to the area designated by the overhead sign for online pick ups.

The female behind the register there just kept ringing up the customers in the regular line instead of asking if I had a pick up between them.

After about 6 customers the female making the orders came over and asked me if I had an order.

The female at the register had not even given her the order to make yet.

The orders have a pick up time. The deliveries are ordered online and already paid for.

I do not make money standing around waiting, I actually lose pay per hour that way.

I have never had a problem at that store before.

I also lost some deliveries yesterday because I am not going to stand around and wait for orders when the place is packed with 'veterans'. Fuck your holiday bullshit.

 

Prices are going up keeping the profits high for Wall Street and the CEOs.

They will not raise wages to meet those increases.

Those prices will not go back down so any wage increases will end up being making minimum wage even worse.

The workers will be forced into the low paying jobs that no one wants.

Either make a price freeze or everything will be worse than before.

The CEOs know this by the way.

 A few reasons to regulate the 'gig' economy.

1. Getting drivers that shouldn't be on the road off the road. They only check the insurance of the person that applies (Doordash just asks and doesn't require proof). That doesn't mean that the person behind the wheel should be there as they allow and even encourage teams. They also encourage immigrants that may not be used to driving.

2. It can be a front for drug trafficking. Think about. Driving all over the place making deliveries. No one is going to question multiple people showing up, they just think that person gets lots of deliveries. No one is going to question a dealer making the rounds if they look like a delivery driver. 

3. It can be used as a front for illegal payments to college athletes. No athlete should be allowed to work in a position that allows tipping. Even the delivery could be an exchange for illegal payments. A few extra ones as a tip is actually a few 100s and no one knows the difference.

4. It is too easy for someone to have a fake ID and get alcohol underage. The scan function doesn't work worth a crap so you have to manually type in the dates. 

5. Most importantly driver safety. Regulate so that more information is known about those ordering or getting rides. Stop allowing the app companies to punish drivers for not taking every order. It makes for fast driving and for going into some shady places. 

6. Enough bullshit.

To solve the school bus driver shortage, why don't all the parents get their Class B CDL with passenger endorsement and take turns driving their kiddies to school?

Get rid of the school of choice nonsense and fix all the public schools. 

Get rid of the turds that cause problems in the schools with a stay at juvey. Screw their feelings.

Get rid of the bullshit religious charter schools. 

Get rid of the bullshit and put the money where it should be. 

Another hint: It shouldn't be in the pockets of school administration or school boards.

Yesterday a guy ordered from a chain restaurant in Okemos to be delivered two blocks away from another store of the same fucking chain.

I do not want to cater to the whims of sorry ass Spartans. 

There are so fucking many drivers now that it is fucking ridiculous. The part timers and those just looking for party money are killing those trying to actually make a living. Fuck you assholes die.

Soon you won't be able to make a living doing it. When that happens I hope the whole thing goes belly up. 

I end up putting all my money back into my car. I will never buy any car made by Ford, GM or Chrysler again if I can help it.

There is no shortage of drivers in the gig economy. There will be when you can't make any money doing it and everyone's cars are destroyed. 

Regulate the industry and clean it up.

The problem with being a route driver is that the dumb asses that work in the businesses can't tell the difference between customer service and trying to get in their pants. Either that or they can't just leave someone alone when they are trying to do their job.

 

Even without the weaponry I would hate living here.

 

I will reiterate a sentiment from the job at FedEx.

That was using a delivery truck that wasn't even mine.

Now I have to use my own car.

Fix your fucking rural driveways or DO NOT get deliveries.

I am not going to get stuck or tear my car up just to deliver to you.

Any delivery company that does not ban people like you deserves to be put out of business.

I will start taking pictures and posting them so everyone knows to reject your address.

There needs to be a way for drivers to sue any company that makes them deliver to those people.

You choose to live there, tear up your own vehicles.

Yesterday morning on my way to work it was pitch black out going down the road I live on. Usually I hold my bright lights on if no one is coming the other way, but for some reason I didn't do it.

I saw the large racoon too late. It didn't look at the car so I got no eye reflection or anything.

I hit the brakes and swerved, but hit it. I am pretty sure I killed it. Too dark to see it.

My car will now need a new front end as it is one piece. The parts underneath the car that are connected to that front piece will need to be replaced as well.

I Gorilla taped as well as I could and worked the rest of the day.

I want to move somewhere where the days stay light longer.

Anywhere the weaponry exists is somewhere that I want to destroy so I will not have anything to do with anyone there either.

More money gone. I fucking hate the whole contractor bullshit and having to drive my own car.

The people running the delivery app companies make their money of the amount of the order. The only thing they care about is that the order gets picked up. They do not care how much or how little money the drivers make.

Well I can pretty much say that I will never ever have a high enough acceptance rate on GrubHub to be able to schedule any decent blocks.

Yesterday started out with 3 rejects in a row because of the bullshit crap of college sports.

I went to my usual starting place, logged in and straight into the nightmare of East Lansing on a game day. Not just any game day but a home game against their biggest rival that is only a short drive away so all of their fans were here as well.

Fucking McDonalds had a half hour wait.

First offer, McDonalds.

Went in saw the wait and said fuck this shit. before I ever got out of the parking lot, another offer for the same fucking McDonalds.

Immediately after rejecting that offer, one for the McDonalds a mile and a half away that has the same shit going on. I rejected it and made myself unavailable in the app. I drove all the way to the other side of town and tried to stay away from that turd of an area all day.

During the day I rejected other offers going to that area.

To MSU students, quit ordering deliveries to area of your idiotic campus that are closed down or just basically inaccessible during that shit. Fucking morons.

To the assholes that do not shut that shit down when it is like that: I want to hit you in the face with a baseball bat.

Anyways, by the time I get to try and schedule blocks, I couldn't even get all day next Saturday like I have been getting.

Every fucking time something goes good some bunch of assholes fuck it up.

GrubHub sucks in that the only way you can get to schedule good blocks is to not make any money for a money and do every single bullshit delivery that they offer.

The whole you get to choose when and where you want to deliver is a smokescreen of bullshit.

More people are using GrubHub to order and the deliveries around that shit hole campus get as low as 3 dollars. Most of them are in the 5 or 6 dollar range. They are turning it into DoorDash or Uber Eats and it just isn't worth it to try and keep the acceptance rate high.

I hate that fucking college. Every time they are in session it fucks up my job.

You assholes here that keep screwing me out of money are just trapping me here. More reason to destroy this area and state.

Regulate the gig bullshit and clean it up or destroy it altogether.

The people running the delivery companies only care about their commissions of the orders, they do not give a rat's ass about the drivers or anyone else out their being safe.

They will put as many drivers as possible out there to get every order that they can without any regard to anything else.

Too many drivers means that will drive even faster to try and get more deliveries in.

I have problems seeing at night with all the headlights and even the cell phone light, but they are basically forcing me to be out there to make any money because there are too many drivers during the day.

I may drive a little fast, but I am also a professional driver that has had a Class A CDL in the past. I know the rules of the road and can drive any vehicle with more than 2 wheels. I use turn signals and I try to keep my car functioning properly.

These app companies not only defraud the restaurants, the whole thing is a lie when they try and force you to do deliveries that you do not want or get shut out of all deliveries.

They specifically want people to "invite friends" which leads to collusion. They literally pay people to invite more people out there which screws over those already out there.

They are slimy little weasels that have most likely never done an honest days work in their life.

Every day it seems like there is a new app out there trying to get in on it or just trying to get one of the big companies to buy them out.

Time to take the money out of computers and cell phones. Put the little weasels to work.

It isn't revenge of the nerds it is screwing over by the candy ass little pussies.

A concerted effort to screw someone out of their job or the money that they are making does qualify as gang stalking.

When two or more people are together in the same car or are working together staking out the same area/place they are colluding with each other in order to give themselves an unfair advantage in receiving offers.

How is it legal for the companies that they get offers from to encourage that collusion?

Riding together is one thing, but when both or all parties in the vehicle have a cell phone operating a delivery app they are stacking the odds in their favor to get any offers there.

That is an unfair business practice. As such it should be illegal. Fines should be levied against the contractors and the companies that encourage said behavior. 

 

It should also be illegal for any company to advertise that as an independent contractor you can choose where you work and what deliveries you want to make and then penalize you if you do not take whatever you are offered. 

 

Basically the penalties allow them to force people into taking low price deliveries and to work wherever the offers send them.

Funny thing happened on the job today.

As I was going from one stop to another, I went down Stillman road from Okemos road to Dobie road.

I came up behind a new or new er BMW 740i or 750i. It had Dealer plates on it. It is a two lane road so I moved to the other side to pass the BMW.

I sped up and as I was passing the asshole in the BMW sped up to make it so that I couldn't pass him. There was a corner coming up so I had to brake and get back behind the asshole.

I flipped him off and he started speeding away. I sped up since I wanted to go faster anyways.

When Stillman road becomes Dobie road it makes a curve marked as 25mph.

I knew that as I have driven that road many, many times.

Apparently the dumbass in the BMW didn't know it.

Instead of slowing down and even dipping to the other inside lane as you can see around the corner when you get close, he slammed on his brakes and left skid marks for about 15 feet before he let off them and went up and over a dirt mound bounced into the driveway there and either stopped just before hitting the garage there or barely hit it.

I watched as I went around the curve and laughed for the next couple of miles.

Moral of the story:

Stupid people shouldn't drive/buy cars they can't handle and then try to be assholes on back roads that they do not know.

Started out pretty good then went to complete shit.

I had a block scheduled from 5 pm to 7pm.

I knew where I wanted to be, so of course someone ordered from an area that I did not want to be in just so I would be there at 5 pm. Second fucking time this person has done it.

I am trying to get my percentage up so I can schedule more blocks. There are so few offers that one rejection costs a lot of percentage points. 

Where that delivery was at 5 pm pretty much trapped me in a fast food area and it got worse as the offers went to an even worse part of town for nothing but fast food.

I rejected the first offer going to the worse area, but of course they sent me another one before I could start heading back to where I wanted to work.

If I make myself unavailable for orders they may end the block at a penalty to me. 

Basically they trap you.

I had to reject another offer as I am not going to sit in the drive thru line at fucking Popeye's at 6 pm. Screw you assholes for ordering from there at that time and for taking the delivery from there at that time. Both ends suck.

Thank you Arbys staff for getting me out of there in a quick fashion.

They expected me to sit at Popeyes for 1/2 an hour while the order they added on from Arbys got cold or melted. 

With or without the Arbys order you can shove Popeyes where the sun doesn't shine. 

I got no real orders the entire 2 hour block. Nothing but fucking "fast" food. 

Fuck the asshole that keeps ordering and making me deliver where I do not want to be. I will save my rejections for your orders.

The whole job sucks now because you have no idea how long you will have to wait to pick up the orders. If you take too many orders thinking that you can get them quickly and can't, someone's food is going to be shit unless you unassign something.

I got yelled at by some fat ass on a scooter inside his house. He complained that I got there too fast because he tried to call and add a taco to his order. He literally bitched me out about them wanting to charge him for an extra delivery. He screamed 20 dollars to eat at Taco Bell is total bullshit as I walked away. Fuck you pig.

This job has turned to total shit since so many people started doing it. 

I do want to add thanks to those that are out there working and trying to get the orders out. Your job sucks, been there done that. 

To those that keep bitching about standing around waiting when the place is slammed: You could always learn how to cook and make it yourself. Until then shut the fuck up. If the employees are standing around doing nothing then you have a legitimate gripe. When you can plainly see that they are not either go somewhere else or wait.

Bitch at the garbage not working or the douche-bags that won't pay their employees.
