From 3 years ago a memory:
On this day

Part of the problem on my job is the fact that the salesperson can't get it out of his head about trying to stay under his $300 a month gas allotment.
When he had to deliver his own product, it may have been an issue to him.
He claims that he makes over $100,000 a year, so even if he had to spend $300 of his own money on top of the allotment it doesn't seem like too much of a problem to me.
Maybe he doesn't like to drive, which is pretty messed up for a road salesperson.
Maybe he uses the gas allotment for his personal use as the van is constantly full of his personal crap and he dumps his personal garbage into the company dumpster.
He even has a dining room table and chairs stored in the warehouse backroom.
I do not have a fuel allowance. I deliver any order that comes in from any salesman that send it to the warehouse to be delivered. I will drive all over the state to get the customer their product.
I emailed Colony corporate in Connecticut to ask if I could use the van to get some 4X8 sheets of flooring materials from the store to my house. They said under no circumstances are any of the company vehicles to be use for personal things.
I do not use the van for anything personal. I ripped my pants at the warehouse and drove my car home to change them.
I have never in my life used the company dumpster to dispose of my trash.
