The pin dick assholes in this area, state and probably country have made it so that I can not get a route driving job.

I used to hang out in bars because of what the bar had to do in the way of video games, pinball, pool, darts, etc. I did not give a rat's ass if anyone else was even in the bar. Generally the less people the better I like it.

I was that way before I moved to this shit hole. 

I have diabetes now and I do not drink alcohol. I have no interest in even going to the bars in this area because I want nothing to do with anyone here socially. I interact with people in the course of my job or their job. 

I try to do my job. I try to do my job well. That is me being me. I do not care who works where I pick up or who the delivery is to. I do care about quality and expediency. I will contact your corporate offices if necessary about your snide ass bullshit. 

I am there to pick up an order or orders on your customer's behalf. I am there to pick up orders that your customers have already paid for and are waiting to get. 

I get pissed off regularly by the idiot drivers in this area. The more you fuck around and do stupid shit the more dangerous you make my job. 

The idiotic road layout here is bad enough without dumb asses behind the wheel making it worse.  

Put driver's education back in the schools and get rid of the private instructor bullshit. Michigan has worse drivers than Florida. Yes, the kiddies might fail. No, I do not care if it hurts their psyche.  

I think all drivers should just walk off the job for a month and watch this turd country come to a complete stop. 

You need drivers more than you need computers and cell phones. Without drivers the shit to make your computer or cell phone never gets to where it is processed and put together. Then it would never get to the store or be delivered. 

Under no circumstance will I be a package delivery driver this time of year again. You can shove Christmas up your asses and die with it.

 I have noticed recently on the job that the only orders I get are the ones that I have specifically stated that I do not want. When I find the asshole manipulating the orders I will beat them to death with a baseball bat. 

I was doing just fine early morning until afternoons in Okemos then suddenly there were no orders in Okemos. All the orders came out of East fucking Lansing and Frandor. Two places that I specifically posted on Facebook that I did not want to go to. 

Now when the whole area is lit up as a hotspot on Uber, I get nothing at all. Nothing until the hotspot shrinks or goes away and then I only get a small order or one going very far away because no one else wants them.

I am no ones fucking mop up boy.

Lately I have been getting every single bullshit small order on Doordash to the point where my acceptance rate that used to always be in the mid to high 80s percent wise is at 66% which does not qualify me for top dasher.

Someone is fucking with my shit and when I get proof I am going to stop them permanently.

My brakes started grinding so my car is at the shop and I am home not making any money. The morning started out fucked up anyways. The first offer was to go to Mason for a delivery. I was in Okemos north of 96 headed towards Grand River. I accepted the offer thinking it was for the McDonalds at Okemos and Jolly. I got there and found out it was for Mason and unassigned the delivery. 

I am not going to spend 40 minutes round trip for under $7.00

All the new drivers are driving down the offer prices and it sucks. 

Every fucking time I get something going in this fucking town someone has to fuck it up. 

I hate this place and any place that the radiation weapons exists. I wouldn't want to be here without the weaponry.

The weather sucks and the whole nepotistic and cronyistic bullshit they have here is worth laying waste to the whole area.

They also have a whole cult mentality regarding Michigan State University that sucks.

In 1998 I was going along working as a cook at the old Plum Crazy restaurant in Haslett. I come in one day to find my hours cut down to 10 from 40. They gave my hours to 2 MSU students that worked there the previous year but had gone home. That would be Plum Crazy that was owned by Steve Fata (which a waitress, Nicole, told me that the Fatas were the local mafia and I better watch what I say or they'll get me) and Tom Warner (which a bartender, Lisa, told me was into cocaine). Lisa was the wife of a defense contractor at BS&A software. 

Both Lisa and Nicole are MSU grads.

Fuck MSU. 

 

 

Wonderful. Back to 12+ hour days to make what I was making because there are too many drivers out there. 

Yesterday I declined at least 10 offers because they were 4 dollars or under. Can you people do math? How long would it take you to get to the place that you order from, get your order and return to where you ordered from? 

A 4 dollar offer that takes 20 minutes total = $12/hr. Screw you.

These restaurants are often times understaffed or have the lobby closed meaning the drivers have to go through the drive thru line. The wait to get your order may be over 10 minutes. 

I warned people about how messed up it is trying to get around MSU campus and the businesses across Grand River (road) when the students are out. That adds more time to the delivery and means less deliveries per hour.

Why do you people that live away from campus insist on ordering from the businesses in that area that have other locations? That whole area was built for walking, not driving. If you know that and still send drivers in there when there are alternatives then you are an asshole.

Personally, I am sick and tired of my job being fucked up every time school starts back up. 

More orders disappeared because the parents are taking their kids to school and picking up their orders on the way home. 

The moronic "school of choice" bullshit in this state just puts more vehicles on the road. It also lets like minded people send their kids to schools that only agree with them. School is supposed to help your kids think and not just program them to be what you want. 

That is child abuse you anti-vax and anti-mask morons.

I am trying to save money to get out of this state. Anyone making it so that I can not do so just makes me hate it here even more. 

 

 I got laid off in March of 2020 because of the Covid pandemic. 

I collected 21 of the allotted 26 weeks in Michigan and took the extra $600 a weeks federal at the time.

That made my unemployment check $900 a week. 

I wanted to go back to work before the 6 months were up and everyone had to be looking for a job. They had not extended the bnefits at that time.

Conveniently, after I returned to work the republishit garbage said ok to extending the benefits.

I got lied to and fucked around by the scum at FedEx Ground and anyone that works there will forever be my enemy. I worked there until some security pea brain from Flint fired me because they thought my Facebook page was disturbing. 

I had no choice at that point but to do gig work as the ol'boy cunt bitch network in this shit hole has made it so that I can not get hired anywhere that is a good job. I hate this fucking shit hole of an area.

I am not going to work around a bunch of useless idiots and not point out that they are useless idiots so shove your PC shit up your asses and die with it.

 Now so many people thjat got cut off some of the government teat seem to be wanting to do the gig work.

As I said, fuck PC and screw them. I am not going to lose my pay because of you sorry ass pieces of shit that were sitting at home collecting unemployment while I was working. Screw you.

You take the jobs that have openings all over the place. Too fucking bad. You should have been working some all along you lazy pieces of crap.

I say put back all Unemployment requirements and Medicaid requirements to where they were before the pandemic.  

For the record, the gig companies offer insurance plans so no one doing gig work should qualify for help through the insurance Marketplace. 

Medicaid should require that the gig companies report all earnings for anyone on Medicaid.

On a little bit different note, all automobiles driven in the state should have 30 days to switch their tags to that of the state they are currently in. All driver licenses should be the same. 

No driver licenses should be automatically given as a replacement for out of state licenses or out of country licenses especially.

 Well got back from my cat's ultrasound and there is a chance that he may have cancer. There is also a chance that he may have IBD. 

Starbucks needs to change their delivery packaging. The holders they use inside the bags are complete bullshit. The openings are so large that the cups move back and forth inside them. If they only put 1 cup inside it the cup will slide under the middle opening and pop the top off on the side of the holder. 

They put the holder inside a bag so the driver can not see if the cup is moving. Not until the liquid starts seeping through the bag and running all over the car. 

If that shit had ruined any of my paperwork I would have done a lot more than take it back into the store and put it on the counter then cancelling the delivery. 

I have had to hit the brakes before and the bags fell over spilling everything inside them. I went back and got new orders made to deliver. 

I have never before had one move and spill while I had a hold of the bag so they would not move during transport.

I am done with that shit.

Question: Are the package delivery companies putting cameras in the vehicles to monitor the drivers so that the information gained can be programmed into an AI to try and make drivers obsolete?

It would seem to me that the insurance companies would prefer the camera to be pointed at the road in front of the vehicle for proof in an accident, instead of pointed at the driver. 

If you put a dash cam in your own car you don't point it at yourself.

Doordash, Uber, Grubhub, GoPuff, Shipt, etc. should be required to report the names and earnings of all contractors to the IRS and any and all State and Federal agencies dealing with benefits, Unemployment, Medicaid and Medicare, Welfare.   

The minimum age for any commercial driver should be 21 years old. Even delivering pizzas. 

Corporations want younger workers, immigrants, minorities and women because they can get away with paying them less.

I have moved to different neighborhoods within the Greater Dayton area many times. Living by myself.

 Three times today I got screwed around by road construction bullshit. All them them require at least a mile and 1/2 detour to get around the crap and some you have to go back the way you had to detour because of the lack of other roads.
 

Once again Meridian road is closed just south of Jolly. The only way to get to stops south of Jolly is to go Every to Button to Meridian. The bridge on Meridian over I96  south of those stops has been closed for months. The road that is closed is open for a week or two then closed again without any notices.
 

They have been putting in some stupid sub-division off Powell road for awhile now and have opened then closed Powell road for the whole time. To get to Powell road you have to enter off of Tihart, The road turns from paved to gravel and you can drive up it around the road close signs for about 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile. That is where the stops are. Then you have to turn around and go all the way back to Tihart.
 

I had an altercation with some road construction assholes today. For some reason the pieces of shit think that they can just open and close roads whenever they feel like it without any notice to anyone.
Bullshit. So I gave them the same "Fuck you" that they give everyone else when they do it without notice.
 

Not to mention that where they had the road closed has been closed to the bridge for over a month as they milk it for more money. I had to turn the other way which has been open for over a month.
There were two assholes working there. A woman and a man.

As I approached them the woman started making a turn around signal which I ignored and kept coming because I had been using the road to the south for over a month. When I got closer and pointed that I had to go that way she started shaking her head and kept doing the turn around sign.
 

I said why can't I go that way there is nothing there referring to road equipment. She said something about "we are surfacing or sealing or some shit today."
 

I was rather irate at this point.
 

I stated it was bullshit and told them "get your fucking work done."

I got back in my truck. The male put his arms up in the bring it position and I got out of my truck and told if if he wants it I got something for him.
 

The woamn got her phone out and started filming so I gave her something to film and shot them the double bird.
 

After I started pointing out the bullshit they pull with willy-nilly road closures the woman started playing the victim and said "Why are you yelling at me?" Typical Michigan PC bullshit.
 

I got in my truck and started backing up the road as it is pretty hard to turn a FedEx truck around on a two lane country road with very little shoulder.
 

The woman  kept filming as I backed away.
 

The male decided to get in his truck and drive up the road after me. I had to back up about a 1/4 mile or more to get to a driveway to turn around in. As I pulled into the driveway the male stopped in the road behind me to take a picture of my license plate.
 

He did the bring it arm thing again and I got out of my truck again.
 

He moved forward and I backed out of the driveway to go the other way.. He went about 100 feet up the road and stopped to tell someone else going that way that the road was closed. He didn't look happy about it either.
 

After they moved the male pulled over and I passed him. He then decided to follow me. He followed me further back down Stillman. He followed me after I turned south on Every. He followed me after I turned east again on Willoughby.
 

I was originally going east on Stillman to go south on Meridian to go to Willoughby as the next stop was very close to Meridian.
 

These are country roads and they are not exactly close together.
 

As I slowed and turned into the driveway I had to go to on Willoughby the male slowed down at the end of the driveway then kept going as there was more traffic behind him.
 

Whether you work for the government or a contractor, when you say fuck you to everyone and close down roads without notice and no emergency not everyone is going to take your bullshit lying down.
 

Quit milking the jobs and get the fucking work done.
 

To the taxpayers: Every cent that these useless turds milk is coming out of taxes regardless of who they work for. Those taxes could be used to fix more roads in a timely fashion.

When they close roads they also might make it so that someone does not get their medicine delivery. They may make it so that perishable food can not be delivered.
 

Either notify in advance of rod closures so people can plan around it or screw you get what you deserve.

"What seems to be a recurring theme of fucking me over/around in this shit hole area is someone quitting their job or saying that they are leaving then I get hired in and they change their mind so I get fucked over. If it happens again I am going to kill everyone in the place. More recently, I exchanged emails with the woman that owns the FedEx contractor that I went to work for and she consistently told me that she was putting me on the Dansville route which was somewhat rural. The first day at work her manager says there was a change of plans because another driver decided not to leave or that his other business wasn't working out so I got shifted to the bullshit Okemos route. I would not have left APCO for the Okemos route, although I would have left because of the sporadic hours and getting fucked over with having a route area. Got bounced around when first hired as low man. Two more people got hired after me and got better runs and one got an assigned route. Now at my current job there is no warehouse work. They did not need to hire another counter person, but a guy that left before I was hired came back. I hate this fucking bullshit cronyism shit hole of an area. These people will tell you anything to get what they need at the time and then not give a shit. Death to the PC bullshit. Which means "fuck you republicans and establishment democrats." I will never stop wanting every single piece of shit involved in the harassment and destruction of my life dead. It would be wonderful if your whole fucking families died with you."

I used to search my name and this blog was extremely hard to find as it was several pages or more into the search results.

Some pin-dink asshole at Google sent out messages saying to get everything that you had off of the blog page as they were going to do away with the blogs.

I moved and deleted as I did over 100 posts to Facebook.

Now the blog continues and shows up first in the search of my name, but there is little to no content left on it.

There is no way that someone's opinion of what they find offensive or what way they interpret something has legal basis to take away someone's livelihood. Since no lawyers here seem to want to take the case, I am also going to contact out of state lawyers that can practice here. I do not want the job back, but I do want a public retraction of the letter sent by the Superintendent of DeWitt schools. If the local police there were in on it, then they need to be reprimanded as well. I also sent a complaint to OSHA about how GRBS does not clean properly. I complain about a company that does clean schools properly and I get screwed??? Sounds like an ass backward shit hole of an area to me.

The government is supposed to stop the kind of stuff that was done to me not be complicit in it.

I was hired in one position that had nothing to do with the schools. They forced me into working at the high school or I would have no work at all. I should have quit that garbage company then, but I needed a paycheck. I continued to do my job and do it very well. I even offered to go to 3rd shift when the person they had couldn't handle it and went to 2nd shift. She repeatedly called in sick which if you read the employee handbook should have gotten her terminated, but since she was a she they have a different set of rules than myself. The manager Theresa who is the main problem told me I would have to take a big pay cut to go to the 3rd shift at the school.

Time passed and I decided to go over Theresa's head to corporate the next step up. I contacted the president of the company about going to 3rd shift at the school so that I could do my job better. The teams practice in the hallways and common areas of the school in the evening. Anyone with half a brain should be able to figure out that it would be much better for all involved if the floors were done on 3rd shift.

She got bent out of shape that I was working in the school at the pay rate that I had from being hired for the other position. She informed me that DeWitt didn't want a 3rd shift anymore and that if i wanted to stay at the school I would have to take the pay cut. This is a $3/hr pay cut from 13 to 10. then she told me that I had two choices to either go to the bank cleaning that I was hired in for or transfer to the MAC on 3rd shift. My first response was to just take the pay cut, but then I sent another email after a couple of minutes saying that I would transfer to the MAC.  So I am already going to leave the school. Kind of sucked, because I was just starting to like the faculty and students there. That is why I wanted to make it a better situation for all involved. DUH.

Seriously, the cheerleaders needed to put a little more clothing on as I had to walk past their practice 15 -20 times a night depending on what was going on in the school. I caught grown men standing around watching them when they had other games going on in the gym. By the way, I tried to inform the Board of education of that after I was fired and the superintendent tried to ban me from all athletic events anywhere that DeWitt teams might be???? Someone should really inform him that he is not a police officer and can not do that. I do not know if he sent out that letter to other school districts, but either way it is a severe defamation of character that I am not going to put with.

I am the one that keeps saying no to sex in the workplace. Going all the way back to working for the scum at the Traveler's Club restaurant in 1997. I hate, loathe, despise and detest the scum that tries to force people into sexual relationships anywhere. Especially when it concerns underage people. Those kind of people deserve a violent response. I do not give a rat's ass who that offends. It is my opinion and I am entitled to it. The first links concern this topic.

I am not saying that it happened at DeWitt high school, I am covering my ass in case they try to say that I was doing it. I expressed my concerns about the situation of working around them to my boss.

Student dress code

Just out of curiosity, are the females at DeWitt High School allowed to wear the type of shorts that the cheerleaders were wearing in practice during the school day in either the classrooms or Gym class?? Are the male students allowed to wear stretch pants during school hours??

If the answer is no to either then why the blank are they allowed to wear them on school property after hours during a school sponsored event practice???

If they are not allowed then whoever was allowing them should be fired.

How and/or what policy did I violate????

Slips includes warning people of a slippery situatuion when a floor sign is not available or the situation is an outside walkway. I was certified in basic life saving skills in the Navy in 1984. I have worked as a bouncer and am aware of proper procedures and techniques for removing unwanted guests. I have learned basic triage skills over the course of my life. I also have a low booming type voice that I can muster to use in case of weather emergencies and directing people to the appropriate shelter.

Literally, I was fired for supposed "violence and language" and told that the Central division manager and the company president found it "disturbing" in the email that I sent to the central division manger and the HR recruiter that hired about going to corporate since they were already jerking me around and had already lied to me about the job. Corporate is worse than they are. I got fired and further screwed over because they wanted to screw me over for going over their heads. 
I will not stop fighting these people until GRBS is out of business or at least all upper management is replaced and the Superintendent of DeWitt Schools is fired.

First off, I do apologize for contacting you. I would use the  chain of command, but so far they have all lied to me or not done what they said they would do.

I would like to get what I am proposing out there now and then go into why I do not trust the chain of command.

I am currently working for you cleaning Dewitt High School on 2nd shift. I do not have a problem with the Supervisor at the school. I do not mind doing the work at the school. I would rather stay there than do what I was hired in for and clean bank floors. I would however like to do the floors on 3rd shift instead.

I am a good worker and I do not stop to play around. I would remain that way on 3rd shift as well.
What I would like to do is go in and vacuum the classrooms and hallways as they are all carpeted in that school. Then take care of the tile cafeteria and main hallway floors and all the side hallways as well. Also vacuum all entrance ways. I would like to have two good upright vacuums that stay at the high school along with the wide supersuction vacuum for the hallways. The carpet extractor for when I get days like today that school was cancelled. A carpet shampooer for the foyers would be really nice. There is a rider scrubber there and a couple of more mop buckets wouldn't hurt.

I would start with that and figure out a system and then pick up more things if there was time to do so. I would like the schedule to be 9 pm. until 5:30 am.

Do not know if there would be time to help shut down after events.

I told Theresa, (not sure on spelling), that I would go to 3rd shift as there is not one at the moment, but she said that I would have to take a big pay cut. Why??? I would be doing almost exactly what I do now just without the interruptions.

As for the chain of command uncertainty:

I was originally hired in as the night time traveling bank floor cleaner position. I have never been in a bank in my time working for GRBS. I was hired by Lindsi and she never told me that I would even be in a school.

Theresa basically told me tough crap you are here in the school when I told her that I was supposed to be in the banks. Also the 3rd shift pay cut thing.

Victor is too shifty for me to like. He seems more of a salesperson than a worker. I could be wrong, but I don't think he likes to get dirty. I apologize if I am way off base here, I have only met him a couple of times.

Just so that you know, I have a strict non-fraternization policy for myself. I do not date co-workers nor am I interested in anyone that would work at the school or any of the students. The latter being somewhat of a problem as the cheerleaders practice in the main cafeteria half naked so I really can't do the SEG part of SEGWAY without looking like a pervert.

I have tried very hard to be nice to everyone there, but I think some take it the wrong way. I try to take an interest in what the various people and/or teams are doing, but again I think it gets taken wrong.

I feel the best way that I could do my job is with the right equipment and on 3rd shift away from the staff and students.

James, we can’t have you on third in Dewitt because they don’t want us there on third shift for energy conservation and security. That being said, we have third shift positions that will be at $12.00 per hour Sunday - thursday night and $13.00 Friday and Saturday night from 9:00pm - 5:30 am.  It is at the Michigan Athletic Club in downtown Lansing.  Would you like to transfer there? 
The bank position is both cleaning, training, completing tile care and floor care in the Central area, using our van, but includes the North all the way up to Gaylord. I am surprised they do not have you on this tile schedule yet as well as training and filling in for bank cleaners.  I can look into that quickly, you are needed in that role if you don’t want the Michigan Athletic Club role.
Victor is no longer with us, and I believe he was used to more hands off management than our expectations, which I think you experienced. But he is a good guy and hard worker, sorry you didn’t see that part of him. Theresa is as well and much more hands on.
So I will pass this on to Ben Hall, our Human Resources Director, who can get back with you on the MAC option and if you still want the banks, we will proceed with Theresa and her support management on why you are not doing that role, but it does include training people on bank cleaning, bank fill in and bank floor care around the state, using our van and equipment.

Thank you for your reply. I think that I would rather just stay where I am than travel around the state. I live with my disabled mother and need to be home every night. I will continue to do the work as best as I can. No, I do not want anything to do with Michigan State.

If you are staying at Dewitt, it would be a paycut. They have been utilizing you as a sub, so your choices are the bank lead/floor care position or the Michigan Athletic Club (it’s not Michigan State).  Ben, please get with James, not sure how we got so off track here.

This is the email that got me fired because Theresa said she showed it to Karin and the violence and language were "disturbing". Theresa said that after she showed it to Karin she wanted me terminated immediately. I never had even one reprimand or write up on that job. Sorry to use this old thread, but I wanted to send this to both of you. I made the mistake of contacting Karen Wysocki about possibly getting a 3rd shift position at Dewitt. I contacted her because I felt like both of you had already given me a run around and didn't trust you. So now I find out that Dewitt doesn't want a third shift and my only options are the bank crap which I do not want or transferring to the MAC on 3rd shift. She said if I stay at Dewitt I have to take a pay cut.

I am most likely going to transfer to the MAC, but if it is a shit job I will most likely just quit. She told someone named Ben to contact me and I am waiting for him to do so. I wrote back that I am going to go to Dewitt tomorrow because Tawny is expecting me, but to transfer me as soon as possible after that.

None of that would be happening if people had told me the truth about hiding me there as a sub. I would not have had time to contact her if I had not shown up at Dewitt for my normal shift and then been told to go home because school was cancelled. Apparently Mike told Tawney to call me about an hour before my shift and I was already on my way when she did. I leave at 1:30 to get there for a 2:30 shift. I get coffee and gas if needed on the way. I try to get there at least 15 minutes early to see what is going on that night.

I would guess that really soon you are going to need to find someone to do the work that I do at Dewitt. I may have to punch the person that killed 3rd shift there in the face.

The worst part of the job is not being able to just do it without anyone there. I like to work by myself, but I am *(should have had the word not here)* driving your vehicle all over Michigan to clean banks.

For the record, I do not have any animosity for the students other than some of them need to be kicked in the butt for the messes that they make on the classroom floors. I do however have a problem with the attitudes that I got from the cheerleading coaches when all I tried to do was warn them that the conditions outside warranted them being careful and hoped that they would pass that along to the cheerleaders. I can't really talk to the cheerleaders themselves as they are practicing. It doesn't really look right when I am standing there talking to them so I try and keep it as brief as possible. Some of them are a little on the stuck up side, but they are cheerleaders so it is a little bit expected. *(Watch any movie about high schoolers)*

I actually started trying to give a shit about what was going on in that school, but it isn't worth it to take the pay cut.

I will do my job at the MAC as long as I have it, but can't promise that that will be a long time. I am not enamored with GRBS.

Also at this point I filed a complaint with OSHA about the regulations that GRBS does not follow at the high school. The emails are to the Principal of Dewitt High School, a trustee and the Board of education for Dewitt schools and the only PTA link I could find for Dewitt schools.

hello. this is the one and only email that you will ever get from me. I am not trying to harass you. I filed a complaint with OSHA against GRBS and their practices within your school. Most likely all the schools that they supposedly clean are this way as well. I do not know the name of the person that contracts with GRBS or I would have sent it to him. Sorry to bother you with it. It is still just stuck in my craw that they actually fired someone that gave a shit over their PC crap. Here is the body of the OSHA complaint.
Several pieces of cleaning equipment have frayed electrical cords. 4 of the mop drain custodial rooms have uncleaned, for months, traps and surfaces. That is where you fill and dump mop buckets and other equipment. the 4 are in the carpeted classroom hallways. The trash can in home economics classroom still stinks after I tried to wash it out. The tables in the cafeteria fold up in the middle. If you fold them up you can see food particles that have been mashed together there for a long time. GRBS cleans with cold water instead of hot. They scrub the floors with a riding scrubber and only cold water. The scrubber leaves behind water in the cafeteria that is not mopped up. It stands until it evaporates. They do not clean out the bottoms of the trash cans and tell you to just put a new bag in. They do not always clean the bleachers that are extended for sporting events. They just pick up the big stuff and close up the bleachers with the food still in them. They do not wipe down the folding chairs used by the teams after games or in between games with different teams using them. They never even wipe down the tops of the cafeteria tables as far as I know. They use as little chemicals for cleaning as possible often times just using water, cold water even in the kitchen. There are probably many more violations that I am just not aware of in probably every single school that they clean.
Good luck with your schools and maybe your overpaid Board of Education should take a pay cut and use the money to hire real custodians that work for the school district.

Hello. First I want to say that the Dewitt girls team kicks some butt. Congrats. The attachment is a .rtf which is a wordpad document if you are not familiar with it. I can't afford the real Microsoft Word.

Before you read it if you do, I would like to clarify something else. If any student at the school felt that I was looking at them inappropriately, I really was not trying to do so. For the record, the varsity cheer squad should really put on some kind of baggier shorts over what basically constitutes their underwear. I have seen grown men come into the events while they were still practicing stand there and stare at them. They are basically full grown women physically.

Anyways, I was fired by GRBS and I consider it an unjust termination. The attachment is a synopsis of the entire history between myself and GRBS. You can check with people at the school as to whether or not I did my job. Just please don't get the attachment graded by an English teacher.

GRBS The BS should stand for bull shit

This may take awhile to read, it will take me a really long time to type.

I interviewed with a woman named Lindsi for the position of Traveling Night Bank Floor Cleaner at GRBS. During the interview she stated that it was a full time position driving their vehicle and it paid $13.00/hr. She also told me that the farthest bank was in Owosso. She continued to say the same things in orientation. The position would not have started until the evening after the banks had closed.
It was either at orientation or at a meeting the next couple of days that I met Theresa. I had had email exchanges so that I knew where to show up. She was asking me when I could come in and I tried to explain that I wanted to change my sleep schedule for when i would be going to the banks. She was very rude and told me that I wasn't in the banks and I needed to come in earlier. Basically she was forcing me into cleaning the schools during winter break as no one wants to work for GRBS and they are constantly short handed.

I worked the first day and was told to use the backpack vacuum upstairs to spot vacuum. I was not shown how to put it on properly and when I started Mike said that he would be back in about 10 minutes. 1 1/2 hours later I finished what I thought that I was supposed to be doing and was sweating profusely. I have type 2 diabetes which I told Lindsi about in the interview.

Later that night when I got home I sent an email to about 4 people that were involved in the previous email exchange including Theresa. I told them that I can not do that in a heated building where I sweat so much because of my type 2. She said it was part of the job. It was not part of the job that I was supposedly hired in for. The banks don't take that long and they turn down the heat at night. I told all of them that I did not particularly want to clean up after other people's children and that I would rather have no hours until I could train for the banks. I was told that I had to take the school hours for "training" or lose the job.

I have the entire email conversations mentioned in this on file.

Imagine that, I ended up wanting to stay in the school until I had to take too big of a pay cut.
After the debacle of the winter break cleaning was supposedly over, they kept telling me on a daily basis to come in the next day or not. There is no posted schedule.

Turns out that the students, teachers and other faculty are not that bad and it wasn't a bad place to be.
At that time there was a 3rd shift employee that kept calling in sick. She switched to 2nd shift and I asked Theresa about taking the 3rd shift position. Theresa said that I would have to take a big pay cut if she put me in that position. (the current ad for that position of 2nd shift says 9.75 to 10.00/hr). Do you Dewitt people really want the type of people willing to work that job for that pay around your children? Not everyone is 77, (Chuck) and just wants to stay active. I am 53 and wanted the exercise to a point, but not for 10.00/hr. Your children should be worth more than that to keep safe and make sure they have a clean school.

After she said I would have to take the pay cut to be on 3rd shift there she states "I will just leave you where you are until you leave." Leave what???? The job, the area, the state, the country???? She is part of the harass them until they quit LGBT PC cult that has been screwing up my life since I worked at the Traveler's Club in 1997. I cleaned a little bit there as well. I seriously do not like those people or their ways. I could care less about who they have sex with as long as they are consenting adults and they do not try and force it on anyone.

What the Dewittians should do is buy your own equipment and hire your own custodians. You set the standards and enforce them to make the schools better for your local children. In normal states places with good schools and not just the curriculum attract more people looking to move in. The more people that move in the bigger tax base you have and you can just keep improving your schools and town/city.

That pretty much means straight to the President which they claim is an open door policy to do. The President's name is Karen Wysocki. she is the person that like to blow her own horn about tripling the sales at GRBS. What she neglects to mention is that the money did not go back into the company for equipment nor did she make sure that she had enough staff to take care of the new customers.

She seemed a little put out that I was not already put into the short handed bank cleaning rotation and did not like it at all that I was making 13/hr at the high school. (I have the email exchange).  She told me that they were just using me as a "sub". A sub for over a month???

I made the offer of going to 3rd shift and doing all of the floors in the school for the same pay as I was getting.  She said no way and that I would have to take a pay cut to stay at the school. she then informed me that my only two options were to go to the bank cleaning position or transfer to the MAC on 3rd shift. The emails were going out to someone else named Ben as well and she told him to get in contact with me. He never did. The MAC was also a pay cut to 12/hr during the week and the same 13/hr on the weekend. Her tone kind of irked me a little and my first reply was "I'll just take the pay cut." That probably angered her as she is all about the money.

A few minutes later I thought about it and emailed back saying that I would take the transfer to the MAC on 3rd shift. I also informed her that I would be going to the school the next day as the supervisor there was expecting me and I didn't want to leave them in a bind.

I decided to send an email to both Lindsi and Theresa to tell them about my contact with corporate and let them know that I was going to end up transferring to the MAC. Apparently the wording of my email scared little Theresa and Lindsi so much that one or both of them went to the President saying it was violent and the language offended them. After I had clocked in and started working I got called into the office and informed that I was being terminated immediately because of violence and language and that the email was disturbing.

BS they just wanted to screw me over because I went over their heads.
Needless to say, it pissed me off getting fired over BS. I told them that their company was a joke and how much I hated this candy ass PC state. I also told them that the company President could do something vulgar and as I left I told them that I already went to a lawyer to see if their pay cut stuff was even legal.

I took the email to the Clinton County Sheriff myself and even though she was completely an idiot she said nothing about violence or language. All she said was that I was being jugemental and wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise. She is a joke that should not have a badge and I complained to her superiors as well.

I gave a copy of the emial to the Principal at Dewitt High School so that he had the facts and not the rumors spread by the PC crowd. They always get a little more dramatic for one person to the next.
So basically the person that actually gave a shit about doing a good job gets fired and the useless garbage company GRBS gets to keep their contract??? The school system is what is going to feel it the most, because no one, unless they are completely desperate, wants to work for GRBS. All school systems that use GRBS should take an anonymous survey of the GRBS employees as whether they stay there because of the school staff and students or because of GRBS. Fire the working guy and keep the people that only care about money. That is a real good message for your children.
I am going to post this and send this to a lot of people and places. I am sick of all the lying garbage spread about me through the PC clique and other ones. From now on I will be sending the truth to anyone that might want to read it.

Maybe some of those aspiring investigative journalists in the schools would like to dig through this and other GRBS things like billing to see what they could uncover. Before they grow up and sell out like the mass media.

I know you all like Chuck at the high school, but even he would tell you that he is not there for GRBS he is there for the kids. GRBS is a horrible company that doesn't clean very well at all. My name is Jim and until yesterday I was cleaning at the high school on 2nd shift. Fairly tall white hair and beard. Anyway, I was fired in what I consider and unjust manner so I figured I would just blow the whistle on the cleaning company. I filed a complaint with OSHA, but I don't expect much to come of that. I also sent what was in that complaint to the High School Principal. I have sent the attachment with this email to one of the Board of Education trustees as well. I didn't quit and I was actually starting to like the job.

This email thread will not contain the last email as it is actually the one that they claimed was why they fired me. I just added it to this old thread to get it to both Theresa and Lindsi. I will put that last message in a different post along with everything afterward that supposedly was reason to ban me from the schools.

There has been a slight change in plan for Friday night. Becky is not able to train due to a family issue. Jim can train at the hs again on Friday, same time as tonight.

Hello. I want to be honest with you. I really do not like working in that school. I can not wear that back pack in a heated building. I have type 2 diabetes and sweating like that kills my blood sugar levels. I get very dehydrated very fast. I was literally getting light headed by the time I took a break to eat something. I will go to the school tomorrow because I told Mike that I would, but I would rather not have any hours and just wait for bank training than to continue working in any school. To be perfectly honest, I do not have any children and I do not want to clean up after anyone else's.
I would like to be able to come in at 3 if possible and skip whatever meeting you are having about the schools. As I said, I have diabetes so I wouldn't eat anything anyways.

*******NOTE I told them I didn't want to be in the schools, but they forced it on me because they were short handed. I did grow to like the school after a few weeks, but it is not what I was hired in for.

*****When I talked with Theresa she basically told me tough the schools is where I was at and I needed to come in earlier instead of getting my sleep schedule arranged to work in the banks. This was during the winter break and the students were not even there for the most part.
