Custodian to me meant that I was responsible for cleaning the building and looking out for the safety of its inhabitants, (faculty and students and visitors) while there. I am the one out there throwing down salt on the outside walkways when the ice storm or snow storm hits as soon as I can. My immediate supervisor in the school also helped with that.

In training I had to complete 4 courses. This is a safeschools training program. I had to do the full courses of:

SLIPS,TRIPS AND FALLS
BLOODBORNE PATHOGEN EXPOSURE PREVENTION
Slips includes warning people of a slippery situatuion when a floor sign is not available or the situation is an outside walkway. I was certified in basic life saving skills in the Navy in 1984. I have worked as a bouncer and am aware of proper procedures and techniques for removing unwanted guests. I have learned basic triage skills over the course of my life. I also have a low booming type voice that I can muster to use in case of weather emergencies and directing people to the appropriate shelter.

This next part is about what GRBS says you should do if you have an issue. Notice the last section of the second scan. It sums up the real policy at GRBS. If you do not 'align' with what the company says they will fire you because they only care about the financial viability of the company. (They are greedy assholes).

The next part is illegal: Employee confidentiality Statement. Read it closely. Under the agre to not disclose sectionn: YOU CAN NOT MAKE SOMEONE SIGN AWAY THEIR RIGHTS TO REPORT YOUR SORRY ASS TO THE GOVERNMENT AGENCIES RESPONSIBLE FOR OVERSEEING YOUR PRACTICES.

This next part  under PROMOTIONS AND TRANSFERS says a lot about GRBS. It flat out tells you tough shit they will put you where they see fit. In my case they even listed me as a "sub" so they could jerk me around how they see fit.

Under WORKING HOURS they do not even have a written or posted anywhere schedule. You are basically 'on call'. That is a sure sign of a shit company. (Crap I am going to get fired, I typed shit again.) Fuck you PCers.

These next two scans are about time off including leaves of absence. They literally fired a guy that got into a car wreck and went to the hospital. Read closely about leaves of absence, because if you are not considered a full-time employee they will screw you over if they can. under the rest they try and make it look like they have a choice about military or jury duty. (These people are serious scammers)

The next scan covers the companies policies of major offenses that could result in immediate termination.
Literally, I was fired for supposed "violence and language" and told that the Central division manager and the company president found it "disturbing" in the email that I sent to the central division manger and the HR recruiter that hired about going to corporate since they were already jerking me around and had already lied to me about the job. Corporate is worse than they are. I got fired and further screwed over because they wanted to screw me over for going over their heads. 
I will not stop fighting these people until GRBS is out of business or at least all upper management is replaced and the Superintendent of DeWitt Schools is fired.
