It is amazing how I check the a delivery app for available blocks earlier as I am waiting for my car at the shop. It needed a new belt and tensioner. there were a lot of blocks available for today alone. I could not claim them at that time as I did not know when my car would be done or if I would have to do something for a job offer I had received.

I check back tonight and every single block for the next 4 days is gone. I truly hate this fucking town. Coincidence? Maybe. 

I contact the company that I passed the DOT physical this morning for and they tell me if the drug screen comes back clean than I have the job.

I call back to a temp service to tell them that I won't be able to make it to an orientation that they set up for me because pf the other job.

Immediately after I call and cancel I get an email from the background check company saying that they need more information.  

Apparently they had tried to contact 4 different jobs listed and could not contact them. All 4 numbers that they had listed as trying to contact were not even close. I did a simple Internet search and found 4 different numbers than the ones they somehow came up with. 2 of those numbers are for companies that are based out of where they are doing the background check for?????

WTF??????
