To clean Dewitt High school and to do it right the schedule should be 5 full time employees. 1 first shifter (6am to 2:30pm), 1 second shifter (2pm to 10:30pm.), 1 second/third shift person (4:30pm to 1am), 2 third shift people (9:30pm to 6am). 3rd shift might be possible with 1 person, but better to have two in case someone calls in.
Can you figure out why and what they would be doing??? If you can not you probably should not have anything to do with the cleaning company or with hiring them.

Neither of those exactly makes you a good person now do they? There may be a third reason, because you have to buy flashy stuff so everyone pays attention to you all the time. I hate GRBS
I contacted the President of GRBS about going on third shift in the Dewitt High School. I went to her because of all the jerking around by other management and HR. She fucked me more than they did, but I can't get a decent job in this shit hole. I haven't had a good job here since Walters Vending in 2000 which I got fucked out of by a bunch of pieces of game playing shit and I want them all dead.
Anyways, it would appear that I now have to either transfer or take a paycut. The transfer is a smaller pay cut.
All because of a couple of cunt cheerleader coaches giving me an attitude and trying to get away from them and to do my work without interruption. Backpack vacuums
If you are wondering why so many posts toady, I got to work as usual only to be told that since school was cancelled that I should go home and not work today. Makes sense to send home the help when there is no one in the school and you can get more done.
They tried to call me 1 hour before I was scheduled, but I was already on my way. they have a policy that states I get written up and eventually fire if I don't give them at least 4 hours of notice if I call in to miss work.
Piss poor managed area.
Now about the post topic. Backpack vacuums are the things that look kind of like Ghostbuster gear. They are great for staircases, they pretty much suck for every thing else. They are no faster than an upright vacuum. They have the very same cord tangling/getting caught issues. They just put the weight on your back instead of on the floor. The motor is on your back and there is no air flow between the vacuum and your back making it very warm.
An upright vacuum has a larger area on the ground, but you still have to either move the chairs or spend time moving the head of the backpack into position.
A good upright has a canister that just gets emptied instead of changing the bag or if the company is too cheap trying to empty the bag of the backpack.
With the backpack, if you go into a large area you have to either pick it up and put it down repeatedly or try and do the whole area with it which sucks. even spot vacuuming with the upright is easier as you simply push it to the next spot allowing you to vacuum along the way.
The beater bar of the upright also helps to stand the carpet back up making it look less worn. A good upright has more suction and will pick up more stuff at one time than the backpack head will.
The backpack does better when you remove the head and use it to get into tight spaces, but if what you suck up is too large it will clog and you have to unclog it. The backpack also woks better if you are vacuuming the walls or ceilings.
The upright is also going to most likely be cheaper to buy and maintain. Just teach the employees to recognize when they might have something wrapped around the bar and get it off the bar.

More typical bullshit
It would appear that I am no longer allowed to do part of my job. Tonight, I went out to my car to eat my lunch. My windshield was covered in ice and it was very slippery outside. When I returned inside and went back to where I was working I saw that the cheerleader squad was still practicing. I went over to the coaches and told them about the weather and that they would probably have to scrape their windows when they left.
All I got was an attitude. It is part of my job as a custodian to warn people of slippery conditions. I told the coaches so that they could pass the information along to the squad of inexperienced drivers that they had in front of them. Also to let them know that they may have to spend some time scraping their windows so that they might actually put their pants on before leaving.
The attitude from the coaches told me all I need to know. I will no longer talk to them at all. Apparently they think that my being nice and/or doing my job had some other motive, but it does not. They just happen to practice in the middle of the cafeteria in the middle of the school that I have to pass by no matter where I go. If they practiced somewhere else I wouldn't even see them or notice them unless I had to clean that area.
So, from now on I will do my best to not even notice their routines or them or their coaches and if they need something opened they can go to a different custodian because my key no longer works in that door.
Which also means that I can not do another part of my job, that was already a problem anyways. The company I work for has one of those moronic acronym programs called SEGWAY. It stands for:
S = Smile
E = Eye contact
G = Greet
W = Work hard
A = Appearance
Y = Yes to the customer
You mind telling me how a 53 year old straight male is not supposed to look like he is perving on a bunch of half naked teenage girls if he does the first three things??????
Even if people know he is not perving, the girls might take it the wrong way and start their little giggling bullshit.
I am there to do my job and no other reason. I look through the job ads every day.
I take pride in my work. I try to do my job well. I do that for a paycheck to live my life somewhere else.
I will try and put this in a way so that people can understand:

I have stated repeatedly that it is not going to happen.
It is not my problem if you get your feelings hurt by falling for the games of the assholes with the radiation weapons or any other game playing assholes. I am not the one doing it.
I am not looking for anyone, nor was I when the assholes in this area started fucking me over.
Just because you are a feeble piece of shit that can not be alone does not mean that everyone is. Just because you are an useless waste of sex addicted space does not mean that everyone else is. Just because you crave the spotlight and other drama queen bullshit does not mean that everyone else does.

Did everyone comprehend that last bit?? I currently work for a company cleaning a High school. That means that everyone that works at or attends that high school is now on the do not have sex with list.
If they are under 18 I would not have sex with them no matter what school they attended.
I do not care if I live in an area full of garbage that thinks that 13 is old enough to keep pregnant and barefoot in the kitchen or not. It is not old enough for me.
I do not care if I live in an area inundated with lowlifes in the LGBT movement that want to have sex with anyone at any age or not. (not all of them just the lowlifes that do) I do not cross that line knowingly.

What are countries? Countries are partitioned off areas of land. Most countries are ruled by some form of government. The people in those governments do not want to give up their perceived power.
I used perceived because in the U.S. for example the government is technically supposed to work for the people not rule them.
In the U.S. most of those people in government depend on money from the rich and/or wealthy whether in the form of an individual donor or a corporate sponsor. Pretty ridiculous, but they need the money to pay for all the radio and television advertisements.
Seriously, it has been called a violation of the countries best interests when a large corporation got hacked???? That is a matter for private industry to take care of not the government. If fighting had ensued the ones doing it would not have been the corporation or the people in government.
A small country was invaded. The U.S. military was sent to expel the invaders. Only because of U.S. money interests in the form of oil companies and stock, but not because it was defending freedom or just doing the right thing. (Kuwait)
Another country had/has a massive genocide occurring. No military to stop it. Because there was no monetary interests in sending the military. (Darfur)
A 'police action' ensues after U.S. people rigged an election in a foreign country just to stop the majority from winning the election. The majority had a different political ideology than the U.S.

I am not and was not the bad guy
With the whole sexual harassment things going on I will reiterate and explain how I am not and was not the bad guy again.
There are several instance of assholes in this town/area pushing what I call their fuck cult bullshit. They try and force sex on the job or between co-workers. They push as the way it is.
Because I point out that I do not have sex with women that I work with or men ever, they try and coerce women to have sex with me. IT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN.
Let me go back to when I moved to this shit hole and shortly after started working at the Traveler's Club. I pointed out repeatedly that I did not have sex with women that I work with, yet every time I turned around some dumb cunt was trying to push the shit.
The owner, William White, is the one that told the 17 year old girl, (Megan?) that she could get her job back if she fucked me. I did not know that he was going to do that, nor would I have wanted him to. He should have been put in jail.
Another time there, one of the other employees, (Lindsey?) came out to the bar where I was sitting before work and complained to me about the owners and management harassing her trying about her continued employment. By that time I already despised the owners and most of management at the place, so I told her to tell them that if they fired her I would quit.
She then told me about them harassing a different female employee, (Ashley?). I stated that I was not happy about that either.
The conniving bitch, (Lindsey?), tried to turn it on me. I am not the bad guy. I did not offer to help because I wanted something from either of them. Had the 17 year old told me what William said I probably would have beaten him half to death. Not because I wanted anything from her, but because it would have been the right thing to do.
Jumping ahead to recent employment, If any of the women at Aldi's warehouse had told me that management was telling them that they had to fuck me if I asked or wanted or just to flirt with me towards having sex, I would have backed them up in court suing the shit out of Aldi.
I don't do that because I want in their pants. I do it or would do it because I hate the fucking garbage that thinks that they can do that shit to people.
So you dumb ass women that keep trying to flirt or pull your bullshit about having sex with me either need to tell me who is trying to coerce you, because it ain't me, or stop doing it and just have a normal interaction with me.

There are several instance of assholes in this town/area pushing what I call their fuck cult bullshit. They try and force sex on the job or between co-workers. They push as the way it is.
Because I point out that I do not have sex with women that I work with or men ever, they try and coerce women to have sex with me. IT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN.
Let me go back to when I moved to this shit hole and shortly after started working at the Traveler's Club. I pointed out repeatedly that I did not have sex with women that I work with, yet every time I turned around some dumb cunt was trying to push the shit.
The owner, William White, is the one that told the 17 year old girl, (Megan?) that she could get her job back if she fucked me. I did not know that he was going to do that, nor would I have wanted him to. He should have been put in jail.
Another time there, one of the other employees, (Lindsey?) came out to the bar where I was sitting before work and complained to me about the owners and management harassing her trying about her continued employment. By that time I already despised the owners and most of management at the place, so I told her to tell them that if they fired her I would quit.
She then told me about them harassing a different female employee, (Ashley?). I stated that I was not happy about that either.
The conniving bitch, (Lindsey?), tried to turn it on me. I am not the bad guy. I did not offer to help because I wanted something from either of them. Had the 17 year old told me what William said I probably would have beaten him half to death. Not because I wanted anything from her, but because it would have been the right thing to do.
Jumping ahead to recent employment, If any of the women at Aldi's warehouse had told me that management was telling them that they had to fuck me if I asked or wanted or just to flirt with me towards having sex, I would have backed them up in court suing the shit out of Aldi.
I don't do that because I want in their pants. I do it or would do it because I hate the fucking garbage that thinks that they can do that shit to people.
So you dumb ass women that keep trying to flirt or pull your bullshit about having sex with me either need to tell me who is trying to coerce you, because it ain't me, or stop doing it and just have a normal interaction with me.

type 2 diabetes and the workplace
Why is it that every job I get or have gotten since I came back to work and I am up front in the interview that I have type 2 diabetes does exactly the fucking opposite of what you are supposed to do to keep your type 2 diabetes in check????
Get this through your fucking moronic heads you piece of shit assholes.
To keep type 2 diabetes in check the person with it is supposed to eat many small meals during the day. That means at work as well. These meals need to be regularly spaced and consistently eaten every day. There can be small fluctuations in the times that the meals occur, but not big ones or the blood sugar levels will get dangerously low.
You can not eat a big meal and say that it will last longer. That will cause major fluctuations in your blood sugar levels. That is not what you want. It will cause you to lose control of your type 2. You need to keep your blood sugar levels in a small range from top to bottom.
If you work somewhere where you sweat a lot on the job. You need to eat and to have access to water so that you do not get dehydrated. When you sweat a lot your blood sugar levels fall. A symptom of dangerously low blood sugar is sweating excessively without effort and dehydration. No access to water will make that much worse.
You need a consistent schedule. That should be for everyone so that you can keep a consistent sleep schedule. Sleep is very important when you have a disability like type 2 diabetes. Sleep is very important to your health if you do not have any disabilities. Companies that jerk you around from shift to shift or have you on call are not worth working for.
The people responsible for enforcing the Americans with Disabilities Act need to seriously investigate the Lansing area.
The next time I tell someone up front in the interview that I have type 2 and they hire me and try to fuck me around in a way that I can not manage my type 2 I am going to get a gun and shoot someone.
I have had it with you fucking pieces of garbage.
A set schedule with set breaks, and I mean that plural not one lunch break in an 8 hour shift, is the easiest way to manage the type 2.
Next is a consistent start time and close to consistent ending time with extra breaks for a longer day. Think warehouse type jobs. That could be a route driving job as well where the stops are set. Think, beer routes, pop routes, potato chip routes, produce routes, restaurant supply routes, etc.
Delivery boy routes are acceptable as long as there is sufficient driving between stops to be able to eat when necessary. Liquids would be manageable as well. The day can not be so long that I run out of food or that it affects my ability to go home and get a good nights sleep.
This is a will not not a can not: I will not work my life away. If there is no work/life balance then there is no me. Fuck you and your company. I will not work in a sweat shop. If there is no ventilation then you can shove your building up your ass.
I can not work as a cook in restaurant. No time to eat or drink. Prep cook is possible, but line cook is not.
Unrelated to the type 2, I have Vertigo. I can go up, but I can not look straight down. Any wobbling of what I am on or in and its over.
I also have a problem with confined spaces. I had a CAT scan once and I will never go into one of those fucking tubes again in my life. The fucking assholes that designed those things need a good beating. So claustrophobia is a problem.
Because of the assholes with the radiation weaponry, I will not work with saws or other machinery where I could easily be injured severely.
There is a date when this will be posted and shared. I can see that at least someone is reading it. so if anyone is hiring me for the exact opposite of what I need to manage my diabetes or for some job where they are trying to make me do things that I have already written that I wont do. I am going to consider it part of the harassment and defend myself appropriately.
If I find someone telling the idiots to do the above to fuck with me and start shit between me and whoever hires me I will hunt them down and kill their whole fucking family.

Who carpets school hallways?
I seriously do not understand why anyone would want to carpet the hallways and classrooms in a school????????
Carpet stains easier, is harder to maintain and wears out faster than linoleum tiles.
Why in the fuck would carpet rooms full of computers?? Carpet builds up static electricity which is not good around computers.
I get the library being carpeted to reduce the noise of people's shoes. That is a pretty piss poor excuse to do it to the rest of the building.
Do you think it prevents slips and falls??? Not when it gets snagged and unravels it actually becomes a tripping hazard. Put down sufficiently absorbent and large rugs at the entrances to wipe your feet on. After each class starts mop in front of the rugs and it will be dry before that class ends.
You shouldn't even have to mop except after the first class starts if the people do not have to go outside to switch classes.
You can sweep halls and rooms with a dust mop very quickly. With the carpet staples, paperclips and other small pieces of sharp objects get stuck in it.
You can sweep and mop the entire hallway system in a fraction of the time it takes to vacuum it and/or shampoo the carpet.
SHHHH don't tell anyone, but brooms and mops DO NOT REQUIRE THE USE OF ELECTRICITY.

Dickhead neighbors
As I sat down to play Jeopardy with my 71 year old disabled mother tonight the next door neighbor and another guy from two doors down the other direction were outside working on the next door trailer. My windows were open and I could hear the guy from two doors down making snide ass little bitch comments about an angry neighbor.
A little history here. Twice in the past week the dog from two doors down, yes that asshole's, got loose and came over into my yard while I was watering my garden. I have spent a few hundred dollars over the years making raised gardens and putting in walkways and buying perennials for my garden. The dog, which is a pitbull or pitbull mix started getting excited and ran through some of the garden before the woman from two doors down came and got it.
It is a female dog and from what I can tell it is not vicious She apologized and the dog didn't have time to start digging. Not a big deal.
The very next night as I was watering the garden, the same dog got loose again and came over running around in the garden area. I yelled for them to come get their pitbull. My mother came outside and walked towards the garden area. I yelled at her to get back as she does not know the dog. She doesn't listen to me and came closer.
The dog having wrapped the line which was attached to its collar around my ankle started running to my mother. I got a lovely little rope burn and started yelling louder to get the dog. The dog jumped up on my mother and almost knocked her over as it was excited. If it had knocked her down it could have severely injured her.
About this time the asshole that owns the dog came around the front of the trailer between our trailers and I yelled explicitly that if the dog came over again I would call the pound. My mother went inside and called the park manager and he went over and talked to the people.
Somehow, now I am the bad guy because some pathetic little twit can't keep his dog under control and in his own yard.
Both the guy with the dog and the next door neighbor can kiss my ass and die for all I care.

Back belts
There are many articles out there that say that there is no scientific evidence that back belts help prevent injuries.
Back belts do help. What they do is hold or attempt to hold your body in a better posture position. They give support to your gut if you have one which takes strain off your lower back even when not working or exercising. If you are carrying a load in front of you the back belt will hold in your gut somewhat and force you to stand in a more correct position to lessen the strain on your lower back.
Back belts that go over your shoulders also tend to limit the amount of twisting that you can do while wearing them. They DO NOT completely stop you from twisting. If you lift things incorrectly you still will or might get injured, the belts just make it harder to lift improperly.

ABC Warehouse delivery
I recently went to ABC Warehouse on S.Penn in Lansing, Michigan and purchased a mattress and box springs set. I paid extra for delivery/setup/haulaway. I took apart my old bed and had it sitting outside ready to be hauled away to make it easier for the delivery team. I had them leave the new mattress and box springs in my living room as I am capable of setting it up myself. again it makes it easier for the delivery guys.
After all that the asshole delivery team refused to take the old mattress and box springs giving me some bullshit about contaminating the rest of the load. There is nothing on the old ones to contaminate anything. We do not have any bugs in our house and I tend to keep it at least clean enough for company. They even had a big plastic bag to put both in because the new ones came together inside of one even though they were wrapped separately. The assholes just did not want to have to move them around as the day went on. There were 3 of them.
When I called ABC to complain they said they would call the drivers and then call me back. When they called back they said that the drivers were not going to come back and take the old mattress and box springs. The ABC person then stated that they have no control over the drivers as they are contractors. ABC needs to contract with someone else. These people were dirty and not professional looking. I will admit that the two helpers that carried the new set into the house were at least polite.
On the part of ABC, they said that they will mail me a 30 dollar rebate check.
Come on people run your own companies and make sure that things are done right.

The Super Bowl
I did not watch it. From what I have seen of the highlights though it seems that it was a pretty fucking good football game. Congrats to the Patriots.
It was, however, just a football game and actually offers little to nothing useful other than a few hours of distraction from the crap going on. Unless you are the government that is. The government uses the spectacle to push nationalistic propaganda. It would seem that the mass media has also decided to push religion in the entertainment shows with the lowlights from Lady Gaga.I should also mention the "getting used to seeing drones in the sky" conditioning.
Almost forgot. The Super Bowl also makes a lot of people a lot of money and not just those on the field. It tends to cost the masses while a select few profit, profit, profit.
Wow, religion, government and money the real axis of evil all rolled into one entertainment show.
The entertainment industry is part of the establishment. Fuck the establishment.
All the entertainment industry does is get rich off the stupidity of the masses throwing away their money on them.
This post will most likely be not popular with a lot of people, especially those that would like nothing more than to not have to do any real work and become rich. I don't care, because I think the world would be a better place without your kind of people.

Couple of things that I will not do again
Blind loyalty is moronic.
That said, there are some things that I will not do again.
1. I will never eat at a Ponderosa restaurant. I went into one in 1988 and saw a picture advertising what looked like a big juicy steak of the variety that I wanted. I ordered it and when it got to the table it was a small steak at best. I walked over to the picture and looked again to make sure that I saw the right one and I did. I vowed then to never ever eat at a Ponderosa again and I have not.
The rest are more recent and I am going to leave out some things in between.
2. I will never order from Breck's Bulbs again. I have had several problems with flowers not growing at all and lots of problems with their so-called perennials not coming back the next year. I decided to give them another chance and ordered 100 dollars worth of plants this year. Half of the order were plants that get shipped in the spring. I went out and made three new raised gardens to put the plants into, ( yes, I cut the wood, put it together and painted it then dug up the sod and put the framing into position and bought new high quality garden soil to fill them with). The original date on their site that I should expect delivery was 5/19/2016. They changed that several times and I finally got the stuff on 5/27/2016. When it got here some of the plants already had blooms that were dead and brown and the foliage was turning yellow. The other plants were bareroots that were all clumped together in the 2 separate bags. I managed to somewhat separate one of the types of plant into the 6 pieces that were supposed to be there, but there were already new growth shoots and planting them was a nightmare as the new growth was going the same direction as the roots. The other type had all grown into one plant it seemed and there were supposed to be 3.
Breck's stated that they would refund my money and cancel the rest of the order and I also had them remove me from their email and catalog mailing lists. As soon as my money is refunded they will never hear from me again.
3.Just today I found out something else that I will never do. I will never again buy seafood from Kroger. I work at the Kroger store in question. I went in and saw a sign in the case that I thought read 3.99/lb on the salmon. So I got three little skinny fillets and when the clerk weighed them and I saw 11.97 I rechecked the sign and saw that it was 3.99 each for a little 6 Oz. fillet. There is another sign right on the case that says the salmon is 7.99/lb. Why were the 6 Oz. fillets in the case at 3.99/lb? The same kind of salmon right next to the strips was 7.99/lb. That is a blatant rip off and I apologize to anyone that shopped at the store and got had by that scam. Why didn't my co-worker double check that I knew the price was each? I won't be saying hello to him anytime soon either.
To add, I also noticed that the seafood cooler unit next to the department was empty and someone was working on it. I am wondering if they took stuff out of that case after it went down and unwrapped it and put it into the main case? Is that how they knew that the strips were 6 Ozs each? Is that where they got the rip off price?

Just fucking wonderful
I said that the car was on its last legs. One of them broke and now I have no car. I am even further limited as to where I can work now. The car was a 1999 Buick Regal and apparently there was a known problem with various models from GM that came out around then with the rear struts and strut mounting areas at the top. The whole area that the strut is mounted to at the top, visible inside the trunk, comes apart or rusts out and the whole strut tower can end up going through it into the trunk itself. That was on its way to happening, but the strut actually broke and ended up against the rear tire first. Because the area was not too far from giving way, the struts were not able to be replaced by the guy that gave my mother the car. He is a friend of the family and only gave it to her because she needed a way to get back and forth to her various doctor appointments. She did not drive it very much.
Now we are both screwed for transportation.
None of that would have happened if the local places I applied had hired me for jobs that I am very capable of doing. That is why I applied to them in the first place. I don't want a challenge, I want a job to go to and do it without bullshit games and lowlife idiots. I am there to do my job, and get my paycheck, and that is the only reason that I would be there.
I hate the whole feeble minded, pathetic, idiot, need their hands held every second of the day even at work crowd. While they are all holding hands and being one big happy family someone else has to get all the work done. If someone else is doing the work, why the fuck are the others even there?
I hate the Lansing area as a whole. Not everyone here sucks, but this is where my life got destroyed and for that I will always hate this fucking area.
All I want is a part-time job to start with, and that means hours for the scamming assholes, that may or may not work into more hours or I can get a different job down the road either way. I am not going to party or socialize with anyone in this area. I am going to do my job, get my paycheck and go home. I want to save what I can until my mother and my cats live out their lives and then I am going to leave this shit hole of an area for good.

None of that would have happened if the local places I applied had hired me for jobs that I am very capable of doing. That is why I applied to them in the first place.
