Doordash's new Challenge Streak promotion.
If you can do math it is a scam.
Anyways, Doordash doesn't care if the drivers are high. The new streak promo is about getting more deliveries done to get more money.
It is still illegal in Michigan to drive while high.
If the cops enforced that law it would cripple the gig industry until they fixed it and made it a real job.
The cops do not have to pull over everyone driving a little fast, but I see the idiots out there every day I work. They have no business behind the wheel.
Not all of them are gig drivers either, some are the students at MSU. Expensive foreign race cars basically. Hopefully they will end up going home in a box and their parents can pay for the tree damage.
Unfortunately it is Michigan where if you want people to be forced to take responsibility for their actions you are the one that is going to get fucked over.

Seriously, I was making over $1000 a week on Doordash alone before they started their refer a friend bullshit.
Then they added in their 'challenge streak' bullshit that the morons can't tell fucks them over more than it helps and forced it on everyone.
With 1 day left this week I have made $540 on Doordash.
I have to pay taxes out of that. I use 1/2 a tan or more everyday of gas, at least $25 out of that.
I put on average a little over 200 miles a day on my car.
I just had to spend $3500 for brakes, front struts and outer tie rods.
The drop in pay will not cover repair bills anymore.
That is why you see all these people doing the gig work in hunks of shit.
The morons that buy expensive cars to do it so that they look good are in for a shock when those pieces of shit, (all cars are pieces of shit anymore), break. Even the ride share people are going to get screwed with the wear and tear on their vehicles.
Last night I saw a car with the Uber Driver light on in the back window and I could see the center console from behind it and he had the Doordash delivery app open. Newer looking GT of some kind, grey.
If that breaks he/she is fucked.
Fuck Uber, the company screwed me because of a lying ass bitch here. Then during the supposed investigation their HR cunt was laughing as she tried to twist my words around. I want that cunt dead.
Fuck sanctuary cities. Uber and Doordash are out of San Francisco. Grubhub is out of Chicago.
See a pattern? They are not helping immigrants, they are using them to get rich.
I hate working in this shit.
I will not work for Amazon or at least not start this time of year. Their contractors will promise you that it isn't seasonal then get rid of you as soon as the stupid fucking holidays are over.

I started looking at new cars because the one I have is a fucking piece of shit American made garbage that will be practically undrivable in the snow in Michigan.
I even checked with the bank about what is possible to do.
Every car I looked at is gone.
More reason to destroy this fucking asshole of a country.

In the past week, two different times other drivers have given me shit about moving my truck that I am still loading so that they can leave before dispatch.
Their trucks are loaded for them.
I get in before them and try to get my truck loaded so I can pull it outside and let someone else that has to load their truck get in where I was at.
I have to load my freight in a specific way so that I can get to it without having to unload and reload every stop until the big shit is gone.
Yesterday, The boss sent two pieces of my freight on a different truck, because they simply wouldn't fit unless I unloaded the whole floor and reloaded it again.
I had 167 stops, (165 after the two pieces) and 218 (216) pieces of freight.
I am sick of being told or asked to stop loading and move when
I can't even go anywhere because of other trucks loading or because their is freight behind me.
I told one woman to "Fuck off and leave me alone". I am about to tell the others the same thing.
One of the drivers yesterday got out after the truck next to him on the line left, so why wasn't he bitching at him to move instead of me?
I pulled up and let the other truck out after there were enough trucks gone to pull into their slots.
It is not my problem that they have to drive so far. Maybe those routes should be run from a separate terminal?
My truck would be loaded if FedEx scanned the freight going to the load your own trucks. There would not be so many load your own trucks in the same area if the warehouse was big enough to handle the amount of freight.
If they want to bitch at someone, bitch at FedEx. I am no one's whipping boy and I fight back.

Yeah. The hearing aids that I bought for my mother came in Tuesday afternoon and she is going to try them out Wednesday.
I seriously hope that they work well for her.
It drives me up the wall sometimes when I have to constantly repeat myself and then she gets mad when I raise my voice.
Other than work related interactions I am really just not interested. I am getting tortured by scumbags that hide behind the national security cover up blanket.
They are criminals. They commit crimes against humanity and deserve to be executed for it.
Unless you want to help expose them then fuck off.
Everyone that got this shit done to me is my enemy for life and I would just as soon wipe them out of existence.

Interesting day at work. This afternoon when the manager and myself were returning from going to turn in the rental vehicle and pick up the delivery van from the repair shop as I turned into the parking lot someone was walking out the back door and away from the building with products in their hands.
When the person looked up and saw me turn in they immediately went back into the building with the products. I thought it looked suspicious so I hurried into the building.
I also told him that I saw him carrying the products out of the warehouse. He said "yeah I am". WTF?
I raised my voice and asked again "Who are you?". He replied Ron. I said "Ron who?" and he said "Ron and the last name that would be pronounced as Aarons".
He was on his cell phone so a phone record should show the call.
It was approximately 2:30 p.m. give or take 30 minutes.
The guy went out the back door and wanted to see if he was going to the car parked in the lot. He walked past it and the manager pulled in. I yelled to the manager that the guy was a thief. I ran in his direction and he went behind a building and into the neighborhood behind the store.
He was a white guy in his early to mid 20s with a blondish colored short beard. About 5'10" to 6' tall and 180 to 200 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans and a pullover dark blue hoodie sweatshirt.
He tried to steal a Dewalt Rotary hammer drill kit and a 2 pack of 20/60 Dewalt batteries as well as a pack that had one of those batteries and a charger in it. That is over 500 dollars worth of stuff.
Anyone in that neighborhood missing things should look in his direction. I will happily identify him for the police if needed.
